Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Kirstenbosch in summer is alive with birdsong, blooms, and that distinct smell of fynbos warming in the sun. Wander along the world-famous Tree Canopy Walkway, known as the Boomslang, for sweeping views over the gardens and beyond. It’s the perfect place to explore, enjoy a picnic on the lawns, or experience one of the iconic Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts.
Table Mountain
Distance from Belle Maroc: 40 minutes
Whether you hike it or glide up in the cable car, the summit always stuns. On a clear day, the views stretch from Table Bay to the distant Cederberg peaks. Table Mountain is also home to an incredible diversity of fauna and flora, with over 2,000 plant species found nowhere else on earth.
Lion’s Head

Short, scenic, and perfect at sunrise or full moon, Lion’s Head offers panoramic views with every step. It’s a local favourite for good reason. You can hike to the summit for an unforgettable experience or simply sit in your car to enjoy sweeping views of the city and natural surrounds. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
